I took a while to set up since I had to buy ink and a USB cable as I thought it came with the printer, I would have liked to have had this made clear to me before and I could have bought one with everything included but I set it up last night except the fax because I now have to buy a spliter but it seems to work when I used my phone line for it instead of my laptop, the printer is a bit loud but works great the ink cartridges a tricky to put in but got them in eventually just be careful not to touch the gold part and the ink nossles and dont tilt the printer with the ink in in this will damage it, other than that the machine pretty much tells you what to do, I had trouble finding instructions to connect to a laptop maybe I am a dumb blonde LOL hope this helps allGet more detail about HP J3680 Officejet All-in-One Printer.
